I've been tracking macros for over 15 years — first as a competitive powerlifter trying to hit weight class targets without sacrificing strength, then as a coach helping hundreds of athletes, busy professionals, and first-time dieters understand that precision nutrition isn't complicated. It just requires a system.

My background is in strength and conditioning. I hold a CSCS from the NSCA, a Precision Nutrition Level 2 certification, and a USAW-L1 for weightlifting coaching. I competed in powerlifting from 2012 to 2022, with a peak total of 1,642 lbs at 198 lbs bodyweight.

The macro coaching philosophy I use with clients comes from 12 years of watching what actually works — and what doesn't. The answer is almost always the same: the people who succeed are the ones who track consistently, adjust based on data (not feelings), and remove as much friction from tracking as possible.
